Kombucha is the product of fermenting tea. Traditionally, kombucha is made from fermented black tea, and the practice goes back over 2,000 years. During the fermentation process, the SCOBY (Symbiotic Culture of Bacteria and Yeast) metabolizes the tea and sugar to produce an abundance of good bacteria, enzymes, B vitamins, and other nutrients such as glucosamine. We use a blend of organic Eco Teas' Yerba Mate and black tea for all of our brews.
Great taste is the name of the game and we're committed to stepping up to the plate. To get the fresh, bold flavor we're known for, your kombucha is brewed in 2 gallon batches to ensure a nutrient dense beverage that is filled with probiotics and is unique and delicious.
